Overseeing and implementing design, development and maintenance of London Square’s multitude of websites, content management systems, interactive floorplan systems, and third party API integrations.

University of Essex

BSc Hons in Production and Development

3 years studying digital production and development at the University of Essex, graduating in the summer of 2004.

2002 - Present

Hikari

Founder (Freelance Designer and Consultant)

Initially working with global bands and band artwork, Hikari progressed into a full service design studio with a wide range of global clients and continues today as a label for my freelance design consultancy.

2007 - 2012

CelebPoker

Senior Designer

Working initially on a consultancy basis, and eventually progressing to full time senior designer in a small team of developers, designers and marketing/ affiliate consultants. In 5 years at CelebPoker I was integral in online and offline marketing campaigns, 3 complete website re-designs and overhauls, multiple mini and micro sites, daily promotion graphics, HTML email newsletter templates and much more. Many projects often requiring extremely tight deadlines and communication with large brands and global businesses.

2009 - 2012

Established Studio

Co-Founder – Head of Creative

Joint Director and Lead Designer at Established Studio based in Leigh on Sea, Essex, working with a variety of brands and businesses in Essex and throughout the UK. Full website design and development, including ExpressionEngine development, E-Commerce sites based on EE frameworks and full digital marketing solutions.

Pixelwork Ltd.

Lead Digital Developer & Outsourcing Manager

Lead Digital Designer, Front End Developer and ExpressionEngine Specialist at Pixelwork Ltd. Expansive development in Bootstrap 2, 3 & 4 Frameworks designing and developing responsive and non-responsive websites alike. Responsible for full project work flow, from initial design concepts, UI and UX, through to front end development (HTML, CSS & JavaScript/ jQuery), CMS integration and server management.

ExpressionEngine full builds and development, integration and maintenance, Craft CMS development. Supportive PHP, XML, JSON.

Project Management of web and digital projects, external contractors/ freelancers and client management.

Senior Front End Developer/ WordPress Developer/ UI Designer

Responsible for full project work flow, from client project scoping to initial wireframe concepts, UI and UX, fully fleshed design mock-ups (Xd, Illustrator, Photoshop) , through to front end development using modern development frameworks (HTML, SASS, JavaScript/ jQuery, npm, Gulp, Webpack, Docker).

Responsible for WordPress custom full build development, integration and maintenance. Supportive PHP, JSON, and branching into Headless Wordpress and React/ Vue.
